Flower Power Charity Day
During our investment seminar in October 2023, Jonathon Crisp expanded Henson Crisp’s charitable work by introducing a new initiative. This initiative allows our team to become more engaged in the community and charities that matter to them by volunteering for a day to support causes close to their hearts.
On the 21st August, our Operations Director, Georgina Bellinger, volunteered for The Flower Power Charity. This charity provides educational resources to enhance children’s emotional health and wellbeing.
Flower Power Book began its journey eleven years ago with the creation of a picture storybook, songs, and music. Thanks to the support and encouragement of many people, it has grown into the resource available today.
Georgina’s day was spent participating in an event at Shobnall Leisure Complex Playday 2024, working alongside author Caroline Wedd to give away books to the attending children. They also provided craft activities, such as making bookmarks. A total of 100 books were given out during the event, made possible by the support of the councillor’s community fund.
