REFERRAL DONATIONS
OUR PLEDGE TO THE COMMUNITY

OUR SUPPORT TO CHARITIES AND THE COMMUNITY THROUGH REFERRALS
As a family-run business, we believe in looking after our team and our clients. It is important to support charities and our local communities in every way possible. For this reason, we regularly donate to many charities, in addition to supporting several local organisations.

As we value our clients and appreciate them referring us to family, friends, and colleagues, we like to say thank you by donating to one of our nominated charities, both on behalf of yourself and behalf of our new client. We also offer you the opportunity to nominate a charity of your choice, should you have a personal preference.

These donations are paramount to making a positive change in the community and people who need support from charities such as Great Ormond Street Hospital.

GREAT ORMOND STREET HOSPITAL

Since the business started in 2007, we have donated over £47,900 to many worthy causes. Great Ormond Street Hospital remains close to our hearts thanks to the work they do with seriously ill children and supporting their families. To date, we have donated £7,450 and continue to commit to contributing to them to enable them to help as many families and children as they can.

LOCAL COMMUNITIES

These donations also include community projects such as the £11,000 to sponsor Huntingdon Rugby Club over the years and help them to provide young people to play a team sport and attend training and tournaments. Above all, it enables them to develop skills and aids emotional and physical development. We have also made donations to Peterborough Rugby Club and the Terrington Tigers to allow them to continue their work in the community.

With the country in a recession and battling the cost of living crisis, homelessness numbers are on the rise. We believe that donating to charities that support those affected is more crucial now than ever.

We have donated close to £8,000 to various homeless charities in our community, including the YMCA and the Purfleet Trust, enabling ongoing support to young people and providing access to local services in the community. The Purfleet Trust provides a daily hot meal and grants the ability to gain essential life skills.

On average, it costs £3,500 a day to maintain the Peterborough Cathedral, which only receives funding through the community. To date, we have donated more than £11,000. We continue to support the Cathedral, enabling them to continue providing tours and educating the next generation. We also held our 15th anniversary here, which you can read more about here.

At Henson Crisp, we continue to pledge our support to our nominated charities and those nominated by our clients. We thank our clients for their referrals, enabling us to make donations on their behalf. Click here to read more about our nominated charities.

If you would like to help us continue to donate to any of our nominated charities and organisations, please keep us in mind and refer a friend.
